Business owners often know they should record short videos but still do not know what to say. I used our Topic Wheel to turn four public stories from our own work into eight source-backed prompts for Local Service Spotlight’s free Task Library. The queue is ready for recording, with no made-up demand counts.
Free runnable marketing task guides for business owners and operators.
Definitive hubs, real worked examples, bidirectional links, and honest holds.
Dan’s 46 listed Podchaser credits; the 14-video session; the eight-link run; and George’s public Topic Wheel rollout.

Task Library commit
6a05ba3Ready for recording. None were recorded or scheduled in this run.
Starting state
Four useful public stories already existed, but they were not all connected to their best definitive parent. The reviewed starting counts were Podchaser at 0, One-Minute Video at 0, Internal Linking at 1, and Topic Wheel at 2. Across the reviewed manifest, 85 unique meta-article records were counted.
The job was to strengthen the graph without counting one story under several parents. Each completed-run story gets one primary definitive hub. Exact links and public read-back decide whether the record counts.
The Topic Wheel we built
- WHAT: Local Service Spotlight’s free, runnable marketing task guides for business owners and operators.
- HOW: maintained definitive hubs, real worked examples, links in both directions, visual-first proof, and honest HOLD states when evidence is missing.
- WHY: Dan Leibrandt’s 46-credit Podchaser result; Dennis Yu and Marko Sipilä’s 14-video recording session; the eight-links, eight-minutes internal-linking run with an estimated $0.27 cost under the source article’s stated token-price assumptions; and George Paladichuk’s public Topic Wheel rollout.
The source selection is based on available public proof and the need to explain four parts of the system. We did not measure search volume, repeat-question frequency, or audience demand in this run.
Eight one-minute videos ready to record
Speaker and next owner: Dennis Yu. Status for every row: ready for recording. None were recorded or scheduled in this run.
How four definitive articles strengthened
This Topic Wheel article is one record in a four-repair batch. It does not count four times. The batch publication, exact-link read-back, primary-parent confirmation, and orbit manifest regeneration are complete. The table shows the current counts after those checks.
| Definitive hub | Before | Verified after publication | Record or repair |
|---|---|---|---|
| Podchaser | 0, No verified examples | 1, Emerging | Published and read back “How We Built Dan Leibrandt’s Source-Backed Podchaser Record.” |
| One-Minute Video | 0, No verified examples | 1, Emerging | Assigned the Dennis Yu and Marko Sipilä worked example to this primary hub while preserving its true publication and promotion states. |
| Internal Linking | 1, Emerging | 2, Emerging | Connected the eight-link run to the exact Internal Linking hub and confirmed its sole primary-parent assignment. |
| Topic Wheel | 2, Emerging | 3, Supported | Published this execution record with Topic Wheel as its sole primary definitive hub. |
| Unique counted records | 85 | 89 | Four distinct records, each counted once. |
Sources and evidence boundaries
| Source | What it supports | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Dan Leibrandt on Podchaser and the Zip Code Kings creator page | 46 listed credits, 1 podcast, 16h 37m, and Host on 46 episodes. | The profile’s current claim or ownership state; the public UI offers Claim Profile. |
| Dennis and Marko’s public story and its content screenshot | The article documents 14 recorded videos; the screenshot shows one Unlisted item and additional Drafts. | That all 14 were publicly published. |
| YouTube promotion screenshot | $6.68 spent, 1,842 impressions, 254 views, and 53 website visits. | Qualified owners, leads, customers, revenue, or sales. |
| Eight-links run | Eight documented links, about eight minutes, and an estimated $0.27 cost under the article’s stated token-price assumptions. | A ranking, traffic, or revenue result caused by those links. |
| George’s Topic Wheel rollout and the public Greatest Hits rollout | A public implementation, the George 404-to-wheel change, and the linking pattern across wheel, stories, and Money Tree. | Demand for a proposed video or a business outcome from the map alone. |
Actions, result, and lessons
- Used WHAT at the center, HOW in the middle, and WHY on the outside.
- Selected four public stories with inspectable receipts.
- Wrote two source-linked prompts per story.
- Assigned Dennis Yu as speaker and next owner for all eight prompts.
- Kept publication, recording, scheduling, traffic, and customer outcomes as separate states.
- Mapped each orbit repair to one primary definitive hub.
The Topic Wheel and eight-item queue are complete for this planning task. None were recorded or scheduled in this run. The four-record batch was published and read back, and the orbit manifest was regenerated. Those checks produced the current 1/1/2/3 hub counts and 89 unique records.
- Selectable credits are not accepted credits.
- Recorded videos are not published videos.
- A website visit is not a qualified lead.
- An internal link is not a ranking or revenue result.
- One meta article gets one primary parent.
- A graph count becomes current only after the published pages and regenerated manifest agree.
Next owner and maintained recipe
Dennis Yu is the next owner for recording these eight prompts. The publication owner completed the four repairs, exact-link read-back, primary-parent checks, and manifest regeneration. The current total is 89 counted records.
The recipe used was Task Library commit 6a05ba3: Map out one-minute video topics using Topic Wheel. The maintained parent is the canonical Topic Wheel hub. This record documents the execution; it does not replace either source.
