When I talk to Anthony Hilb, I see a guy who’s not just running Anthony’s Lawncare and Landscaping or Anthony’s Tree Removal. He’s the Gordon Ramsay of home services.
Let me explain what I mean.
Anthony audits the business. He builds the relationship. He sets the standard—just like Gordon Ramsay might design the restaurant and lead the kitchen early on. But the day-to-day? That’s handled by the team—the young adults, the virtual assistants, and the local operators he empowers.

From Musician to Multi-Business Owner
Before he was leading crews in tree removal and junk hauling, Anthony was a drummer from Hackensack, New Jersey—raised in LaPorte, Indiana—who nearly went to Berklee for percussion. But he had the foresight to realize that music, as fun as it was, wasn’t sustainable long-term.
Instead, he took that same hustle—the one he used to book gigs, promote shows, and cold-call clubs—and turned it into a lawn care business out of the back of a minivan.
Literally.
He started with a push mower and a pair of garden shears—no blower, no trimmer, no truck. Just sweat equity. That’s the level of grit that built what is now a multi-location operation with multiple LLCs, vehicles, employees, and a reputation for doing things the right way.
Smart Structures, Predictable Profit
Anthony doesn’t operate like a typical small business owner. He’s engineered a layered legal and financial structure that gives him flexibility, tax efficiency, and room to invest in the future.
Here’s how it works:
- Anthony’s Home Services LLC is a multi-member LLC that pays Anthony’s Enterprises, his consulting company, which he owns 100% as an S-Corp.
- Anthony’s Enterprises pays him a salary, which he pays taxes on.
- The rest? He invests under the STAR principle—into things like Bitcoin, emerging industries, or local business deals with long-term upside.
Building Brands That Serve Year-Round
Anthony now runs multiple service companies in Bloomington, Indiana, all built from the ground up:
- Anthony’s Lawncare and Landscaping offers mowing, edging, cleanup, and seasonal work for both homes and businesses.
- Anthony’s Tree Removal is a trusted local crew for storm damage, removals, and technical jobs requiring rigging and safety expertise.
- Anthony’s Junk Hauling tackles residential and contractor cleanouts, including appliances, brush, and construction debris.
- And in the winter, his Christmas lights installation service brings in seasonal revenue and keeps his team employed year-round.
Each of these businesses runs as a separate entity. Anthony often holds 88–90% ownership, allowing room for partners and operators to grow with him.
A Serial Entrepreneur Who Just Loves Building
Anthony is the kind of guy who says, “Describe me in two words? Business builder.”
He’s not in this to show off. He’s not at masterminds talking revenue. He just loves creating systems that work—then handing them off to the right people.
That’s why he’s no longer out in the field every day. He’s built teams. He’s trained young adults. He’s delegated execution so he can focus on the bigger picture—building a business that doesn’t rely on him to function.
Like Gordon Ramsay: Lead the Kitchen, Then Step Back
In the beginning, Anthony’s the guy trimming grass with shears and cutting down trees himself.
But now? He’s doing what Gordon Ramsay does. He sets the tone, documents the system, and hands it off to someone he trusts.
He’s created a repeatable model for building service businesses:
- Hire local talent
- Empower young operators
- Use VAs to handle backend admin
- Replicate the model in new markets
He still jumps into the work when he wants—but now it’s by choice, not necessity.
Content That Multiplies Impact
Anthony also gets content. He produces real field videos—no fluff. Even the simplest clips work. And when you combine that with our system:
- Create once
- Repurpose 10x
- Boost with Dollar-a-Day ads
You multiply that one video into 100x reach. And in local service industries—where competitors post maybe twice a year—that’s a game-changer.
Legacy Over Lifestyle
What Anthony’s building now is bigger than just a landscaping company.
He’s laying the foundation for a network of skilled operators, each empowered to own and grow their piece of the business. He’s helping others get in at the ground level and build something they can eventually pass on.
He’s also thinking bigger than business: about community, philanthropy, and using his success to support causes that matter—especially around health, environment, and education.
He told me once, “I want to be able to fund the guy who’s going to change the world.”
That’s where this is headed. From the back of a minivan to multi-entity business owner to long-term legacy builder.
And he’s just getting started.
