A slug is not canon. We already had a Liana URL that looked like Jack Wendt’s. It was a Google Photos stub. The backpack reel was thicker. We kept the URL, filled the hub until it was the most helpful first-person answer, hung every owned story from a named limb, and practiced the Second Ring rules we already published. This is the receipt.
Parent method: One canonical honor, many story leaves. Worked example: dennisyu.com/lianaling/. Quality bar: Jack Wendt. How photos become cards: how we build people pages.
What went live
Hub /lianaling/ · method /one-canonical-honor/ · hyphen /liana-ling/ now 301s to the hub · her home stays lianaling.com
The mistake
I take pictures so I remember people. Liana and I have years of that. A backpack studio at DigiMarCon. Coach Yu. A partner audit door. A people card. And a stub at the “right” slug that said I would come back and narrate the frames.
Calling the stub canonical because the slug matched Jack and Roanin was the error. Google and ChatGPT should not be asked to cite an empty page. If the hallway reel is thicker than the relationship hub, you have not earned the role. Do not 301 the rich leaves into the stub. Fill the branch, then hang the leaves.
What we kept
- One honor URL — dennisyu.com/lianaling/. We did not mint a second biography slug.
- The backpack article stays a leaf on the conference-capture limb. We did not 301 it into the hub.
- The people card stays a card — /people/liana-ling/ points at the hub. The /people/ index links the card only.
- Her entity home stays hers — we link lianaling.com and her Dollar a Day post on powerupstrategy.com. We do not clone either.
- The partner door is not an honor — LSS /liana/ is the JVZoo / local-operator exam, with an orbit aside back to the branch.
SEO Tree, practiced
Root dennisyu.com → trunk /people/ → branch /lianaling/ → limbs (conference capture · reputation / Coach Yu / AI ads · Dollar a Day teaching · partner / JVZoo) → leaves. That is SEO Tree on a person, not the Skill / Pack / Agent / Job / Proof ring.
Travis Reynolds is still the published name-vs-specific-article example. Liana is the living relationship example. Inventory: the packet on GitHub, not a second public sitemap pretending to be a biography.
Second Ring, practiced
We already published the architecture: Second Ring. Living it on this graph meant:
- Dennis ↔ Liana is first-ring. Never manufacture a hop.
- Simon / JVZoo is now direct. She originally bridged. Do not ask her to re-introduce Simon.
- Richard Rossi is a named second-ring intro via her laptop at DigiMarCon, already on the made-it leaf. The private Zoom stays private.
The first product bug was putting someone already-direct behind a fake hop. We did not repeat that here.
Video ledger
The working Coach Yu conversation is kQt_VObAsuY on the hub, captions on, youtube-nocookie. The mastering-AI leaf used to embed osI5B_IkrLE. That id is dead. We retired the visible player and named the id. We did not pretend Coach Yu was that video. Rank Math still names the dead id in og:video / schema on that leaf — leftover polish, not a second honor.
What “done” meant
Anonymous Chrome-UA GET: hub 200, first-person, thicker than the backpack leaf, tree + Second Ring markers, Coach Yu playable. Every owned story leaf has a named-limb orbit aside. Method page 200. Hyphen slug 301s to the hub. Dollar-a-Day “99 examples” did not get a Liana orbit — it is an example row, not her limb.
Copy this when the next relationship looks “canonical” because the slug is pretty. Fill the page. Hang the leaves. Keep her site hers.
Factory line remains Produce → Process → Post → Promote. Cancun slide is still two URLs: the hub, and the method.
