Build your Strategy first

It’s easy to get lost in a lot of things when starting. I would suggest you start with your strategy first and foremost as if you don’t have one, it’s very easy to lose focus on things that truly matter in your business and ultimately a waste of time as it’s not driving business results.

A perfect example I see a lot is when companies just kind of got really distracted by this wild west shiny object and they forget that it’s just like influencer marketing.

Make sure that each of your strategies brings value to the business and that real value equates to more sales to the business.

Want to know how to build that KILLER Content with the help of a KILLER Strategy?

Instead of going through Website tools, focus on Content

When you find a tool that you think is pretty robust, think instead of what matters most–your Content.

You might want to go fancy but nothing drives traffic like your Content. So literally, you can have the simplest form in WordPress plus plugins and thrive themes, or even just purely native tools. Need help with your content?

Here is a Content Marketing Course that can help.

Be clear about the workflow needed in your business

So like, if your student or clients don’t respond in this amount of time, then send them something and if they do,  then send them something else. There are a lot of CRM options that do a lot of things and that is why it is very important that you are clear with the workflow you wish your clients to go through and make sure it is as seamless as possible.

You can run it in different forms, there’s Infusionsoft or HubSpot and MailChimp. Any of those two. It doesn’t matter what the tool is.

Your CRM should be able to send in specific increments– might be from behavioral triggers for example.

A lot of people jump straight to a course and they fail because they just put up a landing page and it doesn’t work like that.

You have to have patients and clients and you have to feature them. And they will be your example when you build a course around and sell.

Conclusion

Tools don’t matter. The tools are not the issue most of the time. When you’re just starting your business, you need to get the basics in place. Don’t get too fancy yet. Believe me. I know how to go fancy, but not at this stage of the business.
