Do Not Give Your Money to Nathan Zeal of Zeal Media

I have been friends with Michael Houg for ten years. He is a mortgage broker. He signed up for Nathan Zeal of Zeal media’s marketing plan and spent $2,100, on top of it, $300 a month of ad spend for five months. So he’s out almost $4,000, but he received no results.

So he texted me, and this is what he said.

Nathan

Nathan Zeal of Zeal media is about to get destroyed

I always tell Michael you’re a mortgage broker, don’t keep signing up for internet marketing people who promise the next secret, where if you spend the $2,000, they will magically deliver results.

You always have to be careful about prepaying. You should only prepay if you trust them.

But he signed up and spent thousands of dollars on ads. Can you imagine signing up for an agency that supposedly will drive you leads of people that want to get their loans financed through you?

Note that Nathan doesn’t have any real PR. He has paid for it to get verified on social media.

You have to be suspicious if all you do is pay and don’t have to do anything; you don’t have to make videos, update your website, or get reviews. And there’s no work on your part as the client.

And somehow, if you spend money, all these leads will come. I don’t think so.

Nathan delivered him only ten leads, and none were any good.

They failed to deliver the results, so Micheal asked for a refund. They said they wouldn’t refund him unless he jumped through every hoop and filled out all this stuff.

Micheal asked them about a refund, and this is what they said;

Micheal made sure to follow up with all of them; that way, they couldn’t try to blame him, but he did not want to go through all these hoops.

If you have concerns about the marketing materials provided by zeal, we can make adjustments. It’s all cookie-cutter content. It will not work because I know a lot about Facebook ads. The issue is not the CRM. The point is their system sucks.

This is an example, just like the one with Aaron Gobidas.

Micheal was promised 40 booked appointments per month for five months with only $300 in ad spend. Do you believe that’s possible for 40 booked appointments for $300 a month means $2 or $3 per lead?

I don’t think that’s possible, especially when you are in Minneapolis. I know many people who are pretty good at social ads, but do you think you can get qualified appointments with people?

I promise you that this guy, Nathan Zeal, will make a refund to Michael.

I don’t think we should make Nathan have to eat the ad spend, but we will make this guy give a refund.

I have the contracts, emails, his responses, links to the better business bureau, and other reviews about what happened, and they’re pretty bad. I will have people on my podcast and interview them about what happened.
