The Kind of Goals That Attract the Right People

We talk a lot about skills. But we really need to talk more about goals—because goals shape behavior, and behavior shapes culture. And culture is what brings the right people together.

In a world flooded with content about cars, cash, and clout, the focus here at BlitzMetrics is different. We want to build with people who are grounded, growth-minded, and driven by purpose—not just performance metrics or vanity stats.

Below is a generalized version of my own goals—shared to give a sense of the kind of mindset that resonates in this community. If your goals sound similar, chances are you’ll feel right at home here.

And more importantly: people with goals like this tend to care more deeply about the work they do for others. They show up better for clients, take pride in doing the job right, and understand that clients aren’t just transactions—they’re the reason we get to pursue our own goals in the first place.

I’ve personally seen this play out not only in my work with BlitzMetrics, but also in the way I’ve built my own agency, Jordan Media—rooted in these same values of service, long-term thinking, and doing right by the people you work with.

The 3×3 Goals Grid Framework

This is a simple framework we use internally—three goals in each category: Personal, Physical, and Professional/Financial, broken into Short-Term (30 Days)Medium-Term (1 Year), and Long-Term (5 Years)milestones.

Try filling one out for yourself. It brings powerful clarity—and often reveals how aligned (or misaligned) your day-to-day work is with the life you actually want to live.

Why These Goals Matter

These goals might not make headlines—but they build stability, character, and meaningful impact.

They reflect the kind of people we want to work alongside at BlitzMetrics—people who are coachable, self-aware, excellent communicators, and hungry to learn.

People with this mindset take better care of clients because they understand what it means to take pride in your work. They show up with gratitude, not entitlement. They listen. They execute. And they lead from the inside out.

Clients deserve that kind of care.
They’re not just paying for deliverables—they’re supporting your ability to pursue your goals and your lifestyle. That should mean something.

So love your clients. Show up fully. Give your best—because the people you serve are often the bridge to everything you’re working toward.

If your goals look more like purpose, service, growth, and freedom—you’ll thrive here.
