HVAC Quote’s Rocket Ride to 100 Clients in 100 Days

In home services, quotes are usually hidden until a technician arrives. HVAC Quote changed that, winning 100 contractors in its first 100 days by showing homeowners real prices up front.

From Concept to 100 Clients

The idea sparked in late 2024 when a handful of contractors and techies realized that HVAC pros were tired of playing guessing games with homeowners. Why make a family wait for a stranger to show up just to find out if they can afford a new unit? The team built an online tool that gives real prices up front.

An MVP went live in early 2025, and the first official onboarding happened on May 20, 2025. By the end of summer, more than 100 contractors were using the tool to quote jobs and close deals.

Transparent Pricing Beats Mystery Quotes

Until recently, homeowners had to wait for a technician to crawl through their attic and return with a price that may or may not be affordable. These days, many want a clear estimate before scheduling a visit. HVAC Quote’s web tool displays price ranges, allows users to pick options, request a quote, and continue with their day.

“Homeowners hate surprises,” says founder Marko Sipilä. “They want to know if they’re dealing with a straight shooter. We built HVAC Quote for exactly that.”

Proof in the Numbers

  • Tim at Aim High HVAC closed his first job through the tool: a $27,000 AC replacement that came directly from the online quote.
  • Tim at First Choice Mechanical credits the platform for over $150,000 in monthly sales since adopting it.

These aren’t one-off flukes. Contractors across the board are reporting higher close rates and shorter sales cycles.

The Transparency Wave Is Growing

Price transparency is spreading across 35 states. HVAC Quote integrates with existing CRMs and websites, fitting into contractors’ lead workflows.

On Track for 1,000 Clients

The company aims to bring on 1,000 clients within the next year. It plans new features to help contractors quote faster and manage sales. “We’re just getting started,” Sipilä says.

Why Investors Should Pay Attention

Observers in the investment community may take note of HVAC Quote’s model, which uses transparent pricing to gain traction. The company points to its growth metrics as evidence that this approach resonates with contractors and homeowners.
