Meta Business Suite (formerly Facebook Business Manager) is where we manage your Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad accounts, and Meta Pixel — all in one place. Granting us partner access lets our team run ads, create content, and analyze performance across both Facebook and Instagram without sharing your personal login.
Estimated Time to Complete: 5 to 10 minutes
What You’ll Need
- A Facebook account that is an Admin of your Business Manager / Meta Business Suite
- Our Business Manager ID: ask us for the current ID at access@yourcontentfactory.com
- A desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) — this process does not work well on mobile
Option A: Add Us as a Partner (Preferred)
This is the cleanest method — it gives our Business Manager access to your assets without adding individual people.
- Go to Meta Business Suite. Open https://business.facebook.com/settings and log in.
- Navigate to Business Settings. In the bottom-left, click the gear icon or find Settings in the menu.
- Go to Partners. In the left sidebar under “Users,” click Partners.
- Click Add. Click the Add button and choose Give a partner access to your assets.
- Enter our Business Manager ID. Paste the Business Manager ID we provided to you, then click Next.
- Assign assets and permissions. Select the assets you’d like us to manage. We typically need:
- Facebook Page — Assign “Manage Page” permission
- Instagram Account — Assign “Manage Instagram Account” permission
- Ad Account — Assign “Manage Ad Account” permission
- Pixel — Assign “Manage Pixel” permission
- Click Save Changes. We’ll receive a notification on our end and can begin working immediately.
Option B: Add Us as a Page Admin (If You Don’t Use Business Manager)
- Go to your Facebook Page.
- Click Settings (or Professional Dashboard > Page access).
- Under Page access, find “People with Facebook access” and click Add New.
- Search for or enter the name/email of the team member we’ve designated.
- Grant Full control (Facebook Page admin).
Note: We strongly recommend using Business Manager (Option A). It’s more secure, gives you a clear audit trail, and lets you revoke access to all assets at once if needed. If you haven’t set up Business Manager yet, see our Facebook Business Manager guide.
Troubleshooting
I can’t find Business Settings. Make sure you’re on the desktop version of Meta Business Suite. The mobile app has limited settings. Go directly to business.facebook.com/settings.
I get an error adding a Partner. Double-check the Business Manager ID for typos. Also ensure your Business Manager is verified — unverified accounts have limitations on partner access.
I’m not sure which ad account to share. If you have multiple ad accounts, share the one that’s currently running (or will run) ads for your business. You can check which ad account is active by looking at recent campaigns.
This is one part of our Access Checklist. Visit blitzmetrics.com/acl to see all the accounts we need access to and complete the rest of the checklist.
