Every week, Dennis Yu sits down with a successful entrepreneur to break down how they built their business — step by step. Getting each episode from raw recording to fully published, with a blog article, updated tracker, and live episodes page, takes three stages. Here’s exactly what happens at each one.
STAGE 1: HUMAN TASKS
These are the steps you handle manually before anything goes to the AI.
1. Process the Video
Lightly process the video using Descript (basic cleanup only).
2. Upload the Video
Upload the video privately to:
- YouTube
- Spotify for Creators (SFC)
3. Create the Thumbnail
Find a strong frame from the video and take a screenshot. Prefer a moment from the last third of the video, when the conversation is most engaged.
Ideal characteristics:
- Serious or focused facial expression
- Active / engaged hand movement
Lightly clean up the thumbnail and ensure it is in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Use this screenshot as the thumbnail.
STAGE 2: AI AGENT TASKS (BEFORE THE VIDEO IS OUT)
Once the video is uploaded privately and the thumbnail is ready, hand off to the AI Agent. This stage generates everything needed to schedule the episode on both platforms.
1. Create the Title
Copy all existing video titles from the Coach Yu Show playlist. Use the full transcript from YouTube and the list of existing video titles. Create a title consistent with what is already performing well on the channel.
2. Create the Description
Copy the most recent episode description. Use the transcript and the most recent description as a reference. Create a new description using the same structure and format.
Include a line near the top (after the opening summary): Read the full article: [ARTICLE LINK — add after publish]
3. Upload Metadata on YouTube and Spotify for Creators (SFC)
Add: Title, Description, Thumbnail. Add end screen elements: Subscribe button, one relevant video. Confirm video language is set to English. Add the video to the Coach Yu Show playlist on YouTube.
4. Schedule the Video
Schedule on both platforms for: Monday at 8:00 AM PST / 10:00 AM CST
STAGE 3: AI TASKS (AFTER THE VIDEO IS OUT)
Once the episode is live, the AI Agent handles the remaining publishing tasks. Don’t run this stage early — the article and tracker updates should go out after the video is confirmed live.
1. Create the Article
Follow the BlitzMetrics blog posting guidelines. Embed the YouTube video at the top of the article. Base the article directly on the video content. Include real examples from the video and direct quotes where appropriate.

2. Add Article Link to YouTube Description
Edit the YouTube description to replace the placeholder line with the live article URL. Do the same on Spotify for Creators if the description was mirrored there.
3. Post a Pinned Comment on YouTube
Post a comment on the YouTube video and pin it immediately. Format:

4. Update the Internal Tracker
Add the episode to the Coach Yu Show Episode / Article Tracker Google Sheet. Fill in: Episode number, Title, YouTube video link, Article link
5. Update the Public Episode Page
Add the episode to: https://blitzmetrics.com/coach-yu-show-episodes/
Include: Episode number, Title, YouTube video link, Article link
