Marko Sipilä: From Concrete to Marketing

Marko Sipilä didn’t come from a marketing background. His career began in concrete—literally.

Like many people in the home services world, he learned by doing. Running a concrete coating company taught him how to sell, manage jobs, and communicate with customers. There wasn’t a playbook for marketing in this space, so he built one himself.

That idea became CoatingLaunch—an agency grounded in real experience from the field. Marko spent time with installers, shot videos on job sites, tested offers, and watched what actually moved the needle. Each experiment added another layer to a system built on firsthand understanding.

He also believed relationships mattered more than reports. You could find him at shops like Cisneros Decorative Concrete in California or Master Touch Outdoor Living in Florida, sitting down with owners and crews, learning how their businesses worked. Those visits built trust—and turned into success stories that spoke for themselves.

When he wasn’t in the field, Marko was on stage sharing what he’d learned. At events like Liftoff 2024 and the Concrete & Coatings Mastermind in Dallas, he talked about the principles that drive real growth: responsibility, communication, and genuine understanding of a client’s business. His talks were practical, rooted in what he’d lived, and always focused on helping others grow.

By mid-2024, CoatingLaunch had expanded from a single idea into a nationwide team serving dozens of clients. Marko built a culture that valued consistency, humility, and results—teaching his team how to deliver on promises and build lasting partnerships.

I’ve been fortunate to call Marko a friend and collaborator. From the start, I was impressed by how deeply he understands both the people and the process behind home-service marketing. We’ve had the chance to share stages, lead trainings, and exchange ideas about accountability, systems, and sustainable growth. What stands out most is his consistency, humility, and the way he genuinely invests in helping business owners grow.

That same spirit came through in a video he shared in May 2024, where he reflected on the company’s growth. Marko thanked his team, clients, and community for believing in what they were building together. He talked about the long days, the lessons learned, and the sense of purpose that came from helping others succeed. It was honest, personal, and deeply grateful.

Marko is now channeling everything he’s learned into his next venture, HVAC Quote—a platform that helps home service contractors convert leads with instant quotes. Building on his experience growing CoatingLaunch into a powerhouse in the concrete coatings industry, Marko is using the same proven strategies to empower home service entrepreneurs to scale efficiently and build thriving, sustainable businesses. The goal is to give contractors better tools to manage leads, measure performance, and grow sustainably—built from the same values that guided CoatingLaunch from day one.
